Socialtext is looking for a visual designer for a lightweight, award-winning web collaboration application. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building beautiful web/PC/Mac applications that people love to use.

Requirements

• a portfolio of beautiful, user-centered applications, both web and PC/Mac-based
• strong sense of visual design and simple elegance
• an easy-going, collaborative personality
• creative vision and enthusiastic drive
• experience working with cross-functional teams and remote developers
• rapid prototyping and participatory design chops
• broad knowledge of interaction design, information graphics and similar fields
• good understanding of web programming technologies
• expert DHTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
